Description
YUKI & DAUGHTERS was founded in 2005 by Yuki Matsuo as an imaginary grocer that creates incredibly detailed inedible food sculptures. Based in Fukuoka, Japan, after 20 years abroad, Yuki makes each piece by hand with humor and craftsmanship. This ribeye steak sculpture is stuffed with white sand and measures L21 x H10.5 cm. Unlike real food, this decorative piece lasts forever.

I bought this ribeye sculpture as a gift, and it’s surprisingly well-made. The white sand filling gives it a nice weight, and the stitching details are impressive. It’s about the size of a small book, perfect for display. While 182 dollars is steep, the craftsmanship justifies the cost. Reminds me of Bruce Willis’s character in Die Hard – tough and enduring, just like this steak!
