Description

There is something quietly transformative about the night as it softens the edges of the world, deepens its colours, and invites a slower, more contemplative gaze. In this life drawing session, the focus shifts from precision to perception, from what is clearly seen to what lingers just beyond the light.

Hosted by Art Again, a platform devoted to rehoming art and fostering a more accessible, thoughtful secondary art market, the evening becomes an exploration of how light itself can shape emotion and form. Here, illumination becomes a kind of architecture, revealing structure through shadow and presence through restraint. Participants are encouraged to dwell in the chiaroscuro, to find meaning in the subtleties between light and dark.

A selection of red and white wines will be available for purchase by the glass or bottle. Art materials will be provided, however you are encouraged to bring your own if you wish.

The workshop includes a two-hour guided session, a complimentary glass of wine, and light refreshments.

A 10% discount applies to group bookings of four guests or more. We look forward to welcoming you soon!

Attended the Life Under Lamplight session and it was truly a unique experience. The venue had great ambiance, and the instructor guided us through thoughtful exercises focusing on light and shadow. Materials provided were decent, though I brought my own sketchpad for better quality. The complimentary wine was a nice touch. At $460, it’s pricey, but worth it for the artistic insight. Didn’t expect to channel my inner aileen lopera, but the evening inspired some great sketches.
