Description
Established in 1899, Kato Seisakusho specializes in the design and manufacture of tin caddies tailored for consumables such as tea, coffee, and snacks. Each tin caddy is comprised of three components: the main body, inner lid, and outer lid.
These caddies are great for storage, keeping inner contents airtight and dry.
Individually cut from tin sheets using traditional foot pedal-operated cutters, each caddy undergoes a meticulous coloring process involving multiple coats, followed by heat curing. To enhance durability, an extra protective layer has been applied to all caddies, ensuring a longer-lasting finish.
The set includes three sizes – 150g, 225g, and 480g. These caddies comes in three colors – Taupe, Poinsettia and Mahogany.
Each set includes a ‘Do-it-yourself’ Custom Label that is perfect for labelling these caddies.Â

I bought the Kato Tin Cans Set in Mahogany and I’m really pleased. The build quality is solid, and the tin feels durable. The three sizes are perfect for storing different quantities of tea and snacks. I especially love the airtight seal which keeps contents fresh. The DIY custom labels are a nice touch. Sam Alexis would definitely approve of these for kitchen organization.
